You must be under 65, live with a permanent and significant disability, and be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or Protected SCV holder.
What supports does the NDIS fund?
Supports include daily supports such as personal care, transport, community access, allied health supports, household tasks, and more, all based on your individual goals and support needs.
What is an NDIS Plan?
It’s a document that outlines your goals, approved supports, and funding, usually reviewed every 12 months.
How do I apply for the NDIS?
Start by completing the Access Request Form with supporting medical evidence. Local Area Coordinators (LACs), family members, service providers, support coordinators, and advocates can help with the process.
What if I disagree with an NDIS decision?
You can request an internal review or escalate your concern to the AAT (Administrative Appeals Tribunal). Advocacy services are available to support you through the process.
