My Ability Angel was born from love, respect and a deep commitment to care. Led by Amelia Havea, a passionate professional with over 17 years of care experience, we’ve grown from a one-woman mission into a trusted local team.  We always show up with heart.

Our journey began in 2019 when Amelia founded the company with one goal: to provide care that honours every person’s story, dignity and needs. The name “My Ability Angel” came from clients themselves, calling Amelia their ‘angel’ because of how seen and supported they felt.

Today, we’re proud to support dozens of participants and families across the Northern Beaches with the same values we started with: respect, connection, and care that goes beyond.

    Our Founder

    AMELIA HAVEA

    With more than 17 years of experience across Not-for-Profit, State, and Federal Government sectors, Amelia has worked in direct care, management, recruitment, HR, and operations.

    What defines defines Amelia most is her ability to lead with both expertise and genuine care.

    Amelia began as a support worker, standing beside participants and families in their everyday challenges. Later, in leadership roles, she learned how to build systems, teams, and services that deliver excellence, efficiency, and genuine care. When she created My Ability Angel, she brought these worlds together as professional best practice and a heart for people.

    Amelia’s mission has always been to create a community where every participant feels respected, supported, and uplifted, every single day.
